Anxiety

My path says I need to make a community post to continue so here I go. I have a hard time talking publicly about everything I have going on but I have some pretty good depression and anxiety going on. I’m really hurting and most days I can pretend like I’m just fine but others are awful.

It can be hard to open up about struggles. Sometimes it's hard because we don't think anyone will understand. Sometimes it's because we feel ashamed - like we're supposed to be stronger and tougher. Sometimes we feel like everyone else has got it together, so why don't we?
Those are lies we tell ourselves.
Someone will understand because they've felt the way you feel.
There is absolutely no shame in feeling bad and admitting that you feel bad.
And just like you're doing, putting on the happy face for others, they're doing the same for you. We're all hurting in some way, for some reason. But we all feel like we have to pretend that everything is okay. But it's not.
I know it's hard to talk - but let's talk. About anything. About something. About nothing. Let's talk, and give yourself some space to breath and feel safe here.
