Grayson, Anxiety, and My Boyfriend

DaniAleah156 June 2nd

I think im doing okay. I've just been nauseated for a few weeks now because of my anxiety. My cat just died and whenever i think about him i just become sick. Im also being forced to play the piano and trying to learn new songs also makes me nauseous. My online boyfriend helps me feel calm when im with him but i feel sick again once im alone. He doesnt care too much about my cat though...and he repeatedly talks about how much he loves his dog and it sometimes reminds me of my cat.img-20240330-181742-057_1717301838.jpg

@DaniAleah156 It's positive that your online boyfriend helps you feel calm when you're with him, but it's important to have support even when you're alone. Consider reaching out to a therapist or counselor who can provide guidance and support for managing your anxiety and processing your grief. They can also offer coping strategies to help you navigate your emotions and find relief from your physical symptoms. In your relationship with your boyfriend, it's okay to communicate your feelings and needs openly. Let him know how important your cat was to you and how his comments about his dog affect you. Expressing your emotions can help deepen your connection and ensure that you both feel understood and supported in the relationship.

Remember to prioritize self-care during this difficult time. Take breaks when you need them, engage in activities that bring you comfort and joy, and lean on your support network for help and encouragement. Healing from loss and managing anxiety takes time, so be patient with yourself and seek help when you need it.
