Recently badged ATL
Hi all,
I’m not sure if this is totally allowed here so I apologise if not.
I got badged as an ATL earlier today but after looking forward to getting back to the teen community after a month, it wasn’t quite as I expected.
So many people that I grew to know and recognise in the community particularly in TL, I found haven’t been around and lots of new listeners instead (which is great I just didn’t expect to feel like I’m completely new there again).
I just don’t really know where I fit in at the moment, I’m still getting to know the adult community but now don’t feel at home in Teenie Land either. I’ve been approved as a Listener host recently as well but don’t even know where I would prefer to host for my first time.
Any tips or help would be appreciated, and/or it would be nice to hear how people have got through this if anyone else has experienced this.
i thought maybe you can. Help
@wishfulWillow6962 Thank you for sharing your experience, Willow. It sounds like coming back to find changes was unexpected and left you feeling unsure of where you fit in now. It is understandable this transition would bring up difficult emotions. Many caring people have found themselves in new roles over time. However, you have shown commitment to supporting others, and you are doing great. We are all here with you to support and guide you as you progress!
@wishfulWillow6962 Life is filled with changes. One reason, you might not see some of the people, you're used to seeing, is you must be at least 18 or older, to be on the Adult side of the community. If you remember the guidelines on age, it says to use the site as an Adult, you must be at least 18 or over 18. So they have to wait, until that age to come over from the Adult side of the community.
Hopefully, they will come over to the adult side, when old enough. I hope this clarifies things a bit for you.
Thank you for stepping up your listening efforts by becoming an ATL, with 7Cups.
