I need hobbies.
I cannot stick with a consistent hobby for one reason or another. I like building Legos, but they are insanely expensive. I like playing video games, but I start feeling depressed when I play by myself, and my friends are never available. I play piano and guitar, but I've been playing both for years and I haven't made much progress and I'm honestly starting to get tired of them. I live in the middle of nowhere and gas is expensive, so I can't really just go to fun places all the time.
Sorry for the rambling. The point is I want some hobbies that I enjoy that aren't too expensive and that I'll enjoy doing for an extended amount of time. Please let me know of your ideas.
I relate to this so much! I have autism diagnosis and not sure abt ADHD but I have hobbies I've made progress on but always having to do new ones, need new people or get bored when go new place, looking for next thing. I also struggle with inner restlessness a lot, but maybe it's not surprising since my extensive undiagnosed mental health issues and undiagnosed autism history. Now diagnosed with autism and generalised anxiety and depression and either ARFID/anorexia and trauma, hallucinations/delusions. But so many possible things. Have health anxiety too. My GP doesn't take the inner restlessness seriously at all just greeted with silence. I can't concentrate enough to cross the road.
