How did you react to your diagnosis?
I recently got diagnosed with Adult ADHD and I feel like I'm going through a metamorphosis. Looking back on my life and knowing certain things/situations that were caused by my undiagnosed ADHD fill me with such regret. But I'm also happy that I know more about myself. I don't know I just feel weird. How's everyone else's experience?
@pahpahsha I appreciate you sharing your experience, and it's completely understandable to feel a mix of emotions after receiving a diagnosis. It's like gaining a new perspective on your life journey. Recognizing the impact of undiagnosed ADHD can indeed bring about a range of emotions, including regret. However, it's important to acknowledge the positive aspect of this newfound awareness — you now have a better understanding of yourself.
Many others who have been diagnosed with Adult ADHD go through a similar process of reflection and adjustment. It's a unique journey for each individual. Some find relief in understanding the reasons behind certain challenges, while others navigate a period of reevaluation and self-discovery.
