Brown noise helps ADHD?

Can brown noise help you focus and be more productive?

It acts as an external stimulus that can assist with focus, reduce stress and promote relaxation and sleep if you struggle with racing thoughts and restlessness in getting to sleep.

I recently tried using brown noise on my balance app for productivity, relaxation, and sleep. However, you can find free videos online with various lengths of recordings of brown noise.

Listening with headphones will yield the best results, although I found videos that don’t require them.

Some recordings are better then others. Try finding ones that are produced by an actual sound engineer.

My results were better using them for rest and relaxation. But I have only tried using it a couple of times.

The evidence for these benefits are anecdotal at this time, as there has not been much study on this yet, but maybe give them a try and see what it does for you.

Have you ever tried using brown noise? How did it affect you? Let me know in the comments.

Here is an article if you would like to learn more. https://add.org/brown-noise-adhd/

@aCalmOasis This is a very interesting read!

I have used brown noise, mainly for studying and blocking out external sounds. I find it to help increase my focus and productivity as well as bring me a sense of calm.

I appreciate you posting about this. 💓
