ADHD Struggles in relationship(non-ADHD)
I’m navigating ADHD and emotional dysregulation, and it’s impacting my relationship. I feel misunderstood and unsupported, despite asking for help with learning about ADHD and engaging in my interests. I’m working on managing my emotions better but wish my partner could step in when I’m struggling.
Any advice on fostering understanding and support in a relationship?

I feel like navigating relationships is one of the most challenging parts of having ADHD. In my opinion, there has to be understanding and patience on both sides. This allows a foundation to be set for the work you will do together. If you both commit to getting educated about how your brain works this will help you both formulate solutions that will best fit your needs. I feel like this is a pretty broad topic, I found this article that has some good tips if you are interested.
