How to know if you are sexually addicted or not ?
Sexual addiction : is a pattern of behaviour that has four components: 1. it feels out of control 2. it brings harmful consequences 3. it seems impossible to stop from 4 .it has a function. ( it anaesthetise a negative feeling state ) “The first three characteristics apply to all sexual behaviour , Good sex involve out of control , bad and good consequences , It is hard to stay stopped because sex is a fundamental human drive. “ “The big factor that lies behind sex addiction is that it is a learned way of escaping and avoiding negative feeling states , So sexual addiction is distinctive in that it is the use of sexual behaviour to anaesthetise a negative feeling state “
I use it as an escape. Definitely addicted. Feeling hopeless.
