Child of two parents with addiction

Ever since I was born, my parents have both been alchoholics, and addicted to drugs. It was obvious to my mother, but my father never commited t the fact that he was an addict.

I never noticed until one night when my mother got very drunk and drove her way home, and when she got inside started falling over. I was sobbing at the time.

Since then, my mother has been to rehab. It was hard for her, but I am proud of her for getting her life together. Both my father and my mother have started going to meeting as well, and I am grateful for that. My mother goes to classes associated with her rehabilitation centre. I am very grateful for this.
