Could you share with me what was the “ah-ha moment” for you during your addiction that made you want to start your journey to recovery? Thank you in advance for sharing your experience.

Ooh yes those moments are truly important, being that stepping stone in beginning the recovery/ healing journey, be it overcoming addiction or something else in life. Thank you for holding this space for people to share.💛

Probably Xanax withdrawl while at a inpatient residential mental health facility. The facility sent me to rehab after I was done with my 30 day stay.

For me it was seeing myself falling back in the same pattern for years, no matter how much I promised myself every morning, that I don't want!
for me it was watching my bestfriend break down the day after she found me strung out it broke me to see her like that it made me feel like I had failed her in so many ways
