what has helped you in your recovery from an addiction?
what has helped you in your recovery from your addiction?
what has helped me is the support from my mom and knowing that if i have a bad day its ok maybe tomorrow will be a better day
For me, personally, my addiction was rooted in the need to self-medicate. Moving away from my old enabling environments allowed me the space to confront my trauma without any distractions. I still struggle sometimes but life has been steady enough that Ive been able to prevent relapsing.
Nothing as yet...
I think my love for my family and wife support plays major role to me. I was addicted to alcohol but at the sametime I was very concerned about it. One day my childhood friend suggested me why not contact any addiction center or their hotline nos. It was a long treatment for me, but now I am well and very happy as well.

Drawing from past Experiences
What helped me was Facing the problems I was repressing with my abuse ot substances, yes you bet your bottom dollar it was hard, hard to get clean hard to keep on keeping on, it has filled with self Infliction lose an regret loss as I leaned to cope with my feelings then grabbing a crutch as. When I was off my face it helped,
But when I sobered up these feelings always reappeared sometimes worse thanks for to withdrawals but when I stopped drugging my demons and started wrestling I took my life back in. Now 7 years clean an and a father, and I am almost demon free, I say almost as they appear I'm just stronger now I have ever Im still on my journey learning myself
