7 Cups Academy Motivation Pearls!
Hi everyone! I hope you are well. In life whenever you try to learn something new, you are faced with challenges. The same goes for academy programs. No matter how motivated you maybe, there may come a point where you start to doubt yourself or feel like motivation is fading.
I am calling all academy graduates to reflect on their experience as an academy trainee/intern and give some tips to existing trainees who are finding it hard to complete the program. These can be tips on how to find motivation, and what worked for you and it will be great if you can share your own experience and what helped you.
Some comments will be picked and added to flyers distributed to trainees/interns to help motivate them. It will have your username and your tip!
Please follow this format!
Your Tip:
The program(s) you graduated:
I was not sure about joining the program at the beginning because I thought I would lose my motivation but I read the program carefully and decided to give it a try.
As I went on I found out that even if sometimes it would take time and could be difficult it was giving me goid knowledge that I could use both here on 7 cups and in real life and that really helped. When I found myself stuck I would pause for a few days and maybe just look at what awaited me in the following steps and found it intresting enough to do that step that blocked me or that I didn't like. Mentors are also really helpful, if you are having problems with going on because of motivation they are a real blessing. The same goes for forums from people who already graduated and talk about how positive doing the program was for them. It's all a real motivation boaster.
I did Leadership Development Program, I found it really helpful, so much that I now decided to become a memtor for it.

Your Tip: The deadlines for completing the programs are sufficient as long as you do a little every day, planning goals within pre-established deadlines helps to maintain a healthy routine, without exceeding our limits and preventing us from speeding up at the beginning while we are excited and then we totally lose the will to continue. So: Plan!
The program(s) you graduated: Quality Listen Program
Tips:
- Go through list of requirements to graduate and only focus to clear 1 or 2 requirements per week. It's a good pace if we have a busy schedule.
- Create a folder in Google Drive and archive your program and answers. It will save you so much time. You don't have to login and browse 7 Cups just to read over the lessons. And definitely makes it so much easier on reporting time.

My tip: Please go through the course overview thoroughly! Try setting aside 20 minutes a day to work on your requirements consistently! The deadlines are a lot sooner than you'd imagine so consistent work helps!
Graduated from: Content Development and Marketing Program

Your Tip: To avoid feeling overwhelmed I would just look at this weeks requirements and focus on that each week. It can feel like a lot at first so breaking it down really helped me. Also, like others have said, dedicate a set amount of time to it each week and be consistent with that and you'll be fine!
