Academy Sessions Availability Post
Hi everyone! I hope you are doing well. As you know in the past few months we have been adding academy-related sessions exclusively for our academy trainees, graduates, and mentors. At the moment the information on attending these sessions are scattered across our sub-community. @GoldenNest2727 brought up the idea of having a more central place that can be updated consistently to communicate this information. Therefore we are creating this thread.
On this thread, you will find the updated list of all academy sessions available to be attended and you can express interest in co-hosting any of these here.📎
Orientation Sessions
1 hour long session hosted for newer academy trainees to help them understand program expectations and to set them up for success. Orientation sessions are available at the following times every Tuesday.
Hosted on the Teen Side (Can be attended by Adult-Teen listeners and Teen listeners/members)
11:00 AM - 12:00 PM ET ET (Teens), hosted by @YourBuddy30

4:00 PM ET - 5:00 PM ET (Adults), hosted by @SirenOfSerenity
Academy Check-ins
1-hour long check-ins aimed to support existing academy trainees with their program. Meant to be attended weekly to get support with ongoing questions and needs. It also acts as a place for graduates and mentors to interact with current trainees and share experiences and guidance. At the moment the academy check-ins are available to be attended at the following times every week!

Room for the sessions: All these sessions are hosted in the Academy Hub Room. Please click the following text to ensure you have access to the room. You need the academy trainee badge (for your program) or the graduate badge of the program to access the room. If you are a trainee and do not have the badge then please contact Hope asap to get badged. All academy trainees/interns should have their program-specific badge on their start date.
All the session times are in the Eastern Standard Time (EST) also known as Newyork time. You can convert to your time here.
Please note -
If you can commit to hosting an academy orientation or check-in session at a specific time and day for at least 8 weeks, it can be added for you to host! Express interest here.
The sessions happen on the same day, same time each week
Attending 4 of the academy check-ins and/or academy orientation sessions will make you eligible for the driven badge.
