@poeticguy anushka1 maybe we can run an art competition for Art week in January?

@Laura I'd been looking at the description of the special event itself, and I believe that art refers to all art forms, which is super cool! There could be a competition to write the best song about 7 cups, more poetry contests (as I know you've done them in the past) and other things to showcase different art forms, alongside a visual art competition.

Sorry haha, just super excited about this idea! And also, putting my thoughts down now while I've got them, in case I get to work on it wink

@Laura @PoeticGuy @anushka1 @wonderfulPumpkin71

I'd be happy to help with some kind of literature-related event.

In general, I'm not a huge fan of competitions, because it forces us to rank artistic creations, which is really difficult and can perhaps be somewhat counter-productive at times. (In terms of promoting self-esteem and encouraging people to take a risk in putting yourself out there, it seems that a contest rewards only a very few).

However, I'm happy to work on any project, whatever you all want.
