✨ December 10 - Human Rights Day! ✨
A long long long time ago. When dinosaurs were dancing, and dragons were dealing cards like a boss (What? Dragons cant gamble? Dont discriminate :P). In other words, 68 years ago, on this very day, the UN General Assembly adopted the Universal Declaration of Human Rights~ a common standard of fundamental human rights that all nations should aspire to. Today, many people are still deprived of these, and oppressed. And many dont know theyre privileged.
And that is why, 7cups is commemorating HUMAN RIGHTS DAY today!
To recognise the communities which are still oppressed, and to think about our freedom, opportunities and rights, appreciate them and learn more about how we can show tolerance and acceptance of different people. Its time we gave a voice to the voiceless, and talked about this!
