How to Use a Treatment Plan
A long time ago I used to see therapy clients. This is a simple tool that I used to help clients make progress. It is called a treatment plan, but you can think of it like a map that helps you learn how to get from Point A to Point B. @asilentobserver is working with listeners now to launch an experiment on how regular checking in with members helps them better cope with challenges. They might use a tool like this in the experiment. Let me know if you have thoughts or questions on how to best use this tool. I hope you find it helpful!
5 Steps!
Step 1: State the Problem (try to say it as simple and clear as possible):
I feel anxious talking to other people.
Step 2: State the Solution (the opposite of the problem):
I will feel less anxious, and more confident, talking to other people.
Step 3: Member will: (Steps member will take)
I will take growth path steps each day and read 2 sections of the social anxiety self-help guide each week. I will share what I learn with my listener.
Step 4: Listener will: (Steps listener will take)
I will encourage my member and check in on them 2x a week and ask about the progress they are making on the growth path and social anxiety self-help guide.
Step 5: Rate the problem on a 1-10 scale (1 is great and 10 is bad):
Current rating: (a number b/n 1-10 which tells you where the problem is now)
Due date 2 weeks (rate problem again on 1-10 scale in 2 weeks to track progress):
-the goal is to have the problem decrease from a higher number to a lower number as you work with the member or make progress in your life

This is a good idea! Thank you for doing this! I might try this on my members too next time!
@GlenM Thanks for the awesome post! Will definitely use this as a resource for the future. Have a lovely day, and thanks for all your support and hard work. :)
@GlenM
Awesome, thank you so much for sharing this tool with us.
@GlenM simple framework actually, similar to what I used in my daily practice with service users and patients a while back
Effective nevertheless for anyone although treatment plan is rather a incorrect outline for something so "regular"
IMO
Awesome post. This should help a lot of people!
Good plan !
