The Group Leadership and Dynamics Development Program: Members are invited to apply & participate!

Hello everyone, I hope you are doing well. As you might know, we started “The Group Leadership and Dynamics Development” in the first week of January 2021. It is one of the 6 courses currently offered by 7Cups Academy. Initially, we invited the listeners to participate in this course, and as we promised that we will be inviting members as well to participate in this course.

Finally, I am excited to invite our members of the community to take part in this program and learn the group dynamics, group skills, group leadership, and other learnings as offered under this course. I hope you find this course helpful and have a learning experience.

The requirements to participate in the course are as follows:

• Have “Chief Chat” badge
• Have “Honest Voice” badge
• Have “Strong Bond 1” badge
• No Behavior Reports in the last three months & agree to follow the community guidelines
• Willing to learn and apply the learning

Course Learning Goals

To deliver key practical information and help to develop skills to operate effectively in a group setup. The course allows you to understand the benefits of support groups, challenges, and problem-solving by applying the knowledge you learn during the training. It focuses on understanding the diversity of the group and what it takes to align all to achieve group goals. It will allow you to understand the behavior of individuals in the group, the role of group facilitators, and what skills would be required to become a group specialist.

Course Outcomes

• Gain focused specialization
• Gain the skills and knowledge and focused support & guidance
• Application of knowledge & experiences (gained through this program) in the real world events & situations
• At the successful completion of the track, one will be eligible to become a mentor in the focused track.

Onboarding

• All onboarding will be done on a weekly basis.
• To get accepted please ensure the start date falls on Monday. As the program will get started from Monday.
• Ensure to submit an application 3-5 days before the starting date. It will allow the internal team to review and process your application and send the acceptance letter.

Please note we removed one of the criteria, “No Newbie badge” to apply for the program. So, if you are new and interested in taking part in this course, we invite you to apply as long as you meet all requirements of the course. The course is open for both listeners and members. Listeners can apply for either member or listener chatroom track and members could apply only for member chatroom track.
