Mental Wellness Month Masterpost
Greetings everyone!
January is recognized as Mental Wellness Month.
Here at 7cups, we will be hosting a week-long event for Mental Wellness Month under the theme: “Every Mind Matters”. The event is scheduled for January 17th-21st.
This is a time to be mindful of and prioritize your mental health. These past 2 or so years have been filled with uncertainty and anxiety for many of us, and it's more important than ever to take care of ourselves and our mental health. 7Cups “is for anyone who wants to live in a world where the human experience is free from stigma and support. A world where all 7 billion of us grow and feel like we truly belong”. Join us here throughout the week as we make mental health a priority and not a minority.
We will be bringing in different activities for you to get engaged in. These activities will be hosted in the group support rooms and forums and will be aligned with the following theme Every Mind Matters.
- Discussion: What is Mental Wellness
- Icebreaker: Mental Wellness to me means...
- Mental Health Check-in: Day 1
- Group Support Session: A group support discussion on Maintaining Wellness in the General Support Room for adults at 9:00 am EST and teens at 11:00 am EST.
- Discussion: Being Mindful With Our Mental Health
- Icebreaker: The world needs more people who are
- Mental Health Check-in: Day 2
- Group Support Session: In Your Own Voice-Hearing someone else’s story could help you in your own recovery. Join us in the General Support Room on January 18th at 10:00 am for adults and 12:00 pm for teens as we talk openly about our mental health struggles.
- Discussion: 5 Areas of Wellbeing
- Icebreaker: Today I am grateful for
- Mental Health Check-in: Day 3
- Group Support Session: A group support discussion on Mental Wellbeing & The Outdoors in the General Support Room for adults at 9:00 am EST and teens at 11:00 am EST.
- Discussion: Why Talking About Mental Health is Important
- Icebreaker: Mental Health is..
- Mental Health Check-in: Day 4
- Group Support Session: A group support discussion on Speaking Up About Mental Health & Stigma in the General Support Room at 10:00 am for adults and 12:00 pm for teens.
- Discussion: 8 Dimensions of Wellness
- Icebreaker: What is something about you that makes you feel positive and proud?
- Mental Health Check-in: Day 5
