SEPTEMBER RECOVERY AWARENESS MONTH(masterpost)
Hi community. Once again we have our event for the month which i am happy to announce that it is september and all about recovery and spreading awareness, last month we took off and talked about overdose awareness for august, we are gonna try to keep it a lighter topic this month of course but feel free to share your experience strength and hope with your fellow community members. No one is alone, active using, or in recovery we all are humans and we all have feelings. Recovery is possible and anyone who can shine some light on what works for you or worked, as every pathway in recovery is different! Dont ever be discouraged.
To start off with a great discussion to get you excited please head over to content and development community @ouicherie has a wonderful post for you all to check out:) Click here

Great event I'm looking forward to seeing these interviews!!!
Hopefully get some inspiration from them!!!
One coping skill i use for my recovery is this statement: The greatest weapon against stress is our ability to choose one thought over another! For example, when my anxiety tries to get the best of me i use this method because it helps me throughout my day if i'm thinking about using I'm able to focus on something else instead
