I don't need a post to remind me to contribute to posts with no replies. I try whenever I can and when I feel I can contribute smiley

@adaydreamer, please do ^^

It takes courage and honesty to write in the forums - no matter if it's a whole new thread or a comment to the already existing one - and answering those reassure people that they are heard. From the perspective of the members who struggle, reading a reply and realizing that they are not alone with their problems, is priceless.

Thank you for your hard work as a listener, @adaydreamer. Have a great day! ^^

I've replied to one so far because I'm on mobile and clicking on that link opens it in a browser instead of the app. I'm currently using the app on my Android device. I will have to try again on my laptop later!

It is hard for me to sleep. And when I was younger I got over the fear of darkness quickly. But I have had bad anxiety attacks lately and the fear of the darkness has come back but in a new way. It is scarier than ever for me

@neatMap2882, When this happens to me I lie in my bed,cover my head with the sheets and imagine stories revolving around me.In the stories, I imagine doing things that I know that I wouldn't dare to do in real life or just so scared of doing or something unrealistic, I do this until I drift to sleep. I have been doing this a lot ever since I was eight and it helps every time.

MrsBruder July 24th, 2016

@neatMap2882 I have trouble sleeping too. I use guided meditations that I downloaded to my smartphone for free. I also listen to audio books from my public library. Both distract me from my thoughts. Best of luck.

oceansunandblue July 25th, 2016

@neatMap2882 I also had trouble with sleeping. I started to do sport. I drink milk and read book which is romantic or full of relaxing things for me. Then lie my bed think about what makes me feel good/happy and dream about that like I have lots of money and I help people with that. Also meditation works on me, I hope these will be useful for you too :)
