Mentor-Mentee Ideas Update + Help Wanted
With the release of the JITT tool to help new listeners get their bearings as they learn active listening, the subject of how we can strengthen our community support roles has been raised as a priority for discussion. To get things rolling, Fristo created a post inviting ideas for increasing mentor-mentee communication and the reception was amazing. We have collected and compiled all of your suggestions and have been reviewing them to determine what’s viable. We’ll have a more comprehensive list when available, but for now, I can tell you that we’re conceptualizing a revamped Training page which will include a dedicated space for information about the mentoring program, resources, mentor list, and more.
Here’s where we’ll need some help! I’ve pulled all the items out that can be done on a community level that need writers and collaborators:
⭐ Guide about mentors and the importance of a mentor in a listener’s journey (to be added to the Training page). Need someone to write some content for this updated page. Contact: me!
⭐ Mentorship Tests: Develop tests for mentorship growth, similar to AL Tests. Tests need to be drafted and written. Contact: @Fristo
⭐ Volunteers to think through the redesign and overhaul the aforementioned Mentor page. Contact: @Jon7Cups
If you have any questions, let me know below. Thanks for your help!

@Heather225 Glad to hear about this idea getting implemented! I think this will be quite beneficial to the mentee-mentor relationship on cups!
