This is a good question!

One reason may be that they are back from their break and probably forgot to change their bio.

Similarly, they probably came online to do something on the site (other than listening) and forgot to change their status.

I think if a Listener is not on a break and is available they should reply as soon as possible.

@sadhdloop21 I am not sure what you mean by "available", but here's how I think of it…

If a listener has a Chat Now button, then a reasonable amount of time for them to reply is 5 minutes. After 10 minutes with no reply, I suggest you report the listener for ghosting you.

If a listener only has a Leave Message button, then they are not required to reply at all, ever.

Other information on a listener's profile page is often inconsistent. If the listener is really on a break, then you cannot see their profile at all. But some listeners go on a partial break. For example, I am on a partial break at the moment. You can see my profile, but you will never see a Chat Now button there. If a listener has confusing information on their profile page, the best thing to do is ask the listener to clarify it.
