Change for the worse

thoughtfulWriter4175 August 18th, 2022

I have seen stuff change, instead of things getting better it's getting worser.

People treating each other like they are either robots or animals.

The young ones are even worse.

They are killing with no discretion.

I was taught to fight with my hands not a gun everytime I get into it with someone.

Now a days they handle things with a weapon and that's sad.

People don't have any regards for a person life anymore.

@thoughtfulWriter4175

Too many high powered guns in hands of unstable people who need help and support instead. Violent games, movies, and violence in news play a huge role too.

@thoughtfulWriter4175 I understand what youe are saying and I like the way you put it. Remember there are people on your side who feel the same.

@thoughtfulWriter4175 Guns are a minor aspect of the problem, believe it or not...

It's technology itself. Technology is a double-edged sword, just as it always has been.

Even the Internet falls into the pattern: It connects hundreds of millions of people so no one has to be isolated for any length of time. But the connections are superficial; we see each other as names & avatars on a screen, not as actual people. And if the entities one communicates with aren't people, then inevitably there is a temptation to not treat them with the consideration one would normally extend to a real person. Thus with modern technology, humankind's worst tendencies are often channeled & refined, & made more cruel.
