Hard knock life

You know that feeling you get, when you wake up first thing in the the morning and remember to be grateful for accomplishing several errands day before and go into kitchen for first coffee, only to find you left all of your groceries unloaded on the table?   A dozen eggs, a whole chicken, deli ham, cut up butternut squash.  Gotta throw it all away.  *sigh*

I’m working on my chronic depression and loneliness (and a list of other issues won’t mention).  I finally got out of the house after a week, ready to tackle 5 backed up errands. End of day I was so content that I did 3 of them and added on 3 more!

Now I’m reminding myself not to dwell on the failed parts like I would normally do. I am treating myself to an online game that interests me.  The make believe world transports me from the harsh real world.

@SparklySeas49

  YOU are not alone

              It is hard and i find now later in life, i kick myself for every "forgot to do " issues then i did when young.   i left items in car before then wondered if it was snot put in the bag ... lost a few of those things to being out too long.

 I get the idea that some online or computer games for a break from reality , but i also find myself procrastinating on things....

@toughTiger6481   Lol.  I never thought these issues would rear up at this age…im 59.  I feel like im 80!  If my parents did these things at this point they never showed it.

 I’m not pleased that online games are my get away because yeah I can tend to avoid real life too much.  I have to be wary not to over indulge.

@SparklySeas49

I am close to same age as you and have many friends etc all with same thing... not all the time but some days we have to double check we did do things or did not forget to finish something.

being aware of it IMO is being ahead of it ... many refuse to acknowledge they made an OOps in forgetting something.
