i cant help but overthink things in my mind which upsets me and i get anxious sad and depressed keeps me up all night i do feel like im battling with my thoughts and it can be hard to control do any body else feel like this

@neonSea4184 Yes! We generate a lot of anxiety and depression with our thoughts. When we have a depressing thought, it can spiral into more and more depressing thoughts. The trick is not to stay on the thought ride. How do you do that? Someone on this thread mentioned positive affirmations/thinking. That can work, but I have learned that sometimes it takes a different kind of thinking. Check out Dr. David Burns, books, “Feeling Good” (for depression) and “When Panic Attacks” (for anxiety).
