They have silently turned it off about a week ago.
Welcome to 7Cups, changing things to the worse and telling you they are better now, or not telling you anything at all is a beloved tradition here.
The chat was always empty though, it is understandable why they closed it. Not understandable why they did so without comment or announcement.
