hyperyaufarer September 22nd, 2022

I am a 37 yr old female,I have been facing physical and emotional issues before and after my periods.

Is this normal or am I only facing it?

I am single.

I think it's normal. Some women have it easy, for others it's a bit harder.

I usually experience a lot of pain for a couple of days and can't do any work.

My period got delayed recently by a month and I went to a doctor who has given me medicine for hormonal imbalance. If you are facing something like that I'd suggest getting a checkup from a doctor.

I agree with @Creamyyy. Usually the doctor would recommend a couple of things to try before medication is given. It can feel scary but it's very possible they can provide a good fix.

It's normal, you're not the only one that experiences physical and emotional differences before and after your period. As women, with hormonal imbalances, we all experience different symptoms. I usually feel extremely fatigued, like I almost fell asleep when I was having breakfast and waiting for my bread to be toasted, I also become more sensitive and fall into a bit of a depression. I'm 35 and also single~
