I can say from personal experience that often the things they say firsthand aren’t wholly truthful. People tend to want to make decent first impressions so there’s embellishment. Or they fill their time with plenty activities to chat about, and even then I wouldn’t feel the need to compare, because the average person isn’t busybody and their lifestyles are unrealistic for others to live.

Is there any activities you like that you can meet people up for? Or online communities of other hobbyists as well? That’s often the best bet. 🌹
