Sport as therapy

Is there such a thing as over using sport as therapy. I normally use sport to get away from my stresses as it feels like I’m in my own world when I watch, play or think about sports but I feel like I sometimes do it too much and get out of touch with what’s actually happening around me? Does anyone else have that?

if you enjoy something and it brings you peace it's worth your time and effort i think.. so long it's not negatively impacting you ... it's good right? :)
