Overview

Some facts about bullying: Being bullied is oftentimes thought of as simply having to put up with unpleasant behavior. A more realistic perspective is thinking of bullying as a traumatic, tortuous, and systematic destruction of a person’s self-worth and self-belief (Hayes & Herbert, 2011, p. 16). The damage inflicted can be devastating. Are you experiencing fear, humiliation, anger, despair, or isolation as a result of being bullied? This course is designed to help you rise above bullying and rebuild confidence. There are four lessons within this course that have been adapted from Hayes and Herbert (2011) and McQuade, Colt, and Meyer (2009), and Whitson (2012).
