Bio
You may call me Sam
person in the Pacific Northwest (USA).
I am doing what I can to get my life on track to get where I want to be-- working in an activist capacity to change my local community and the world at large for the better.
Things like depression, generalized anxiety, ptsd, adhd, etc get in the way, but I'm doing what I can to cope.
In my spare time I:
-read books. I'm trying to do a 52books/year goal!
-bake. I love bread the most, but muffins are also close to my heart. I've worked in professional bakeries and have been told that I'm pretty decent.
-sometimes I'll craft. I include coloring in crafting, but I've also knit, sewn, and dabbled in other things.
My favorite coping techniques are:
-Distraction
-Reaching out to loved ones, when I'm not afraid of being a burden or scaring them
-Meditating and other relaxation techniques. I've got so many "tools", like a accupressure mat. eye masks, yoga mat, and so on.
