...See more Hello. I would like to share what I can at the moment. I am 32. My mom died the day after Christmas in 2015. As a little kid I can remember my adoptive dad and what he would do to me that is considered abuse. He would make me shower with him when I needed to shower. And when I would get in trouble anytime, he would slam the door behind him, it would only be me and him in the room because my mom would get scared, and he would pull my underwear and pants down and whip me. I am getting through it with my doctor, therapist, and medicine. I am also on disability which makes this extremely hard. But just wanted to start a thread and let everyone know their not alone. Thank you for this app. If anyone needs anything feel free to reach out to me or anyone else because trauma is just memories that haunt you.
