Stephanie is a LCMH Counselor in training at Walden University Online. She currently is employed with the Houston Health Department in the division of Youth and Adolescent Health, working with a team to prevent youth violence, and promote protective factors to youth and their families. Stephanie is an international registered Mental Health Facilitator, CASA Guardian Ad-Litem, and volunteer with a nonprofit organization that provide programs to youth in underserved communities. Her humanitarian and advocacy work began 26 years ago and continues to this day. Stephanie is a current member of the American Counseling Association and plan to open a private practice specializing in Crisis and Trauma providing various therapeutic modalities to serve youth, families & serve as an ally for the LGBTQI community.
