...See more I’m so worried about my daughter. She’s 17 and she keep saying she wants to change things about herself so that she stands out. She told me the other day that she doesn’t feel pretty. I tried to offer a few things that may help her and she turned them all down. I found myself frustrated and told her I’ll stay out of it then. She started crying. I feel like the worse mother in the world. Like I can’t get anything right. She doesn’t trust my opinion I think. Feels like she has no confidence in me at all. I think I’ve been too open about my own issues and experiences. I feel depression creeping up.
