Bio
Hi, I hope you're doing well. You can call me Bright, Mountain, Mountie, or whatever suits you. I decided to become a listener because I know how stressful life can be, and no one should feel like they're alone. I too have found myself dealing with things like anxiety disorders, depression, family stress, college life, and other struggles. I also know what it's like to have no one to turn to, worry what others might think of my situation, or even had people not believe my experiences. I'm here because I believe you deserve a place where you are heard, believed, understood, and validated. I don't believe any feelings are wrong and aim to understand why people feel like they do, not judge them. Life is challenging, and these challenges can be more manageable when we feel like we have somewhere to turn for support. I hope I can help you by listening as much as you help me by allowing me to listen.
Want to know a bit about me? I'm an early 20s-something college student. I've studied geology, german, and biology, but I think I've settled on a career in social work. Right now, I'm in the process of training as a Rape crisis advocate. In my free time, I watch hockey, write in my journal, volunteer, play a certain virtual pet game, and watch netlix.
