I am making a request; my friend Zenith is going through some severe mental health struggles, and said they felt alone and forgotten, and like no one would notice if they disappeared. They also like Zentangles. My request is this: would you join me in making Zentangles for Zenith? What are Zentangles?  "Zentangle is a type of abstract drawing that combines simple drawing techniques with meditation and relaxation to create art. The goal is to achieve a state of calm through the use of repetitive patterns and easy-to-learn strokes called tangles. The term comes from the words "zen" (the Buddhist philosophy of balancing the mind) and "tangle" Maria Thomas and Rick Roberts developed the concept in the United States in 2004. Zentangle art is enjoyed by people of all ages, skills, and interests, and it can provide a common meeting ground that's independent of language, age, and other categories." Here are some examples It can be as simple, or as complex as you want it to be. There are also many example for how to make them on you.tube and all over the internet. If you would like to share your Zentangles for Zenith here, and add "#ZentanglesForZenith" or "#Z4Z" in the image you send, I would copy the images provided and share them on a social media page that my friend can see. Adding any encouraging note is also welcome. ❤️ Please tag anyone you think would like to help out! (P.S., don't include any personal info in the images! I won't include any personal details when I share it with Zenith.)
