...See more I've noticed a pattern in the way I form long lasting relationships and friendships. I find people who dealt with traumatic childhoods, to be way easier to talk to and form closer connections with. The relationships are hardly toxic in nature, and often provide comfort for me emotionally. I find it easier to open up to them and even trust them with any problematic emotions. Just to clarify I've had a rough childhood as well. Could anyone tell me if this is normal or clarify why I feel deeper bonds with these kinds of people?
