I am married but know the grief of having been divorced.  A parent to two grown children. 

I suffered as a shy person fearing embarrassment all my life, until my work as a very public profile helped me develop social skills to cope with situations and become confident. My mother died of suicide which understandably had a profound effect on me and my empathy toward others. 

As I struggle with my own issues, I feel that listening helps me take the focus off those and help others in their journey.   I won't judge you but will affirm your courage to step out and name things and move through the hard times. 

I am willing to be an active listener with you on any issue and will be considerate if I need to drop off an active chat - I will not leave you hanging.  I only ask the same in return.
