Interviews can be scary, no doubt about it. Here are a few tips that I found useful:
1. Do a bit of background research on the company or organization that you are having the interview with, nearly every interview I have had one of the questions they have asked is "what do you know about the company?" or "why would you like to work with this company?".
2. I would highly recommend not eating a huge meal before going in for an interview, the last thing you want to feel before going in is bloated.
3. I've found doing practice interviews with friends and family before the actual interview helpful. This is because with practice interviews, you can get an idea as to how an interview would work and get some positive feedback to help you in the real thing.
4. Write down or make a note of all the things you would like to say in the interview to help you to remember.
5. As hard as this sounds, try not to get too nervous or worked up before going in, you're more likely to trip over your words or forget what you need to say.
6. Try not to wear clothes that are too tight, revealing or baggy as ideally you want to look professional (dependent on what type of job you are going after)
7. Drink some water before going into the interview, helps to prevent your mouth getting too dry.
And finally,
Stay positive, tell yourself that you can do it! And if you are sadly unsuccessful for the job you can still be positive by saying to yourself "At least I've had practice with an interview and have better understanding of what to expect for other interviews!"

Go over potential questions you may be asked, maybe have a friend or family member do mock interviews with you so you know what to expect

I would say the biggest tip i could give you would be to prepare before you go. Read about the company/organisation you are looking to work in as they may ask you what you know about the role. Also try to think of examples when you've been able to communicate well and working as part of a team etc.
Good luck. You'll be fantastic.

Just breathe and be yourself. Some practice questions in the mirror to help them prepare. Ask some questions to the interviewer about the company.

Practice! The key to acing that interview is to practice. I have extreme interviewing anxiety and I get really nervous whenever I have an interview. And the way I got around that anxiety was to practice. Depending on what kind of interview this is for, try searching through Google for sample questions and tips. Be prepared! Formulate answers to generic questions, such as "tell me about yourself." When you meet the person who will interview you, offer a handshake right away and make sure it is a firm handshake and make eye contact when you introduce yourself. Sound confident in yourself and you will come across as confident even if you are really nervous on the inside! And SMILE! Smile as much as you can!

Think of possible questions they might ask you and also questions you want to ask. It could be both personal and technical. Learn more about the background of the company/school/employer whatever you're applying for. Practice with a friend or someone experienced or knowledgable in the field. Rest up the night before!

If you get nervous, try to breathe and relax. Be confident about your skills, because you were chose to do an interview because of them from among a group of candidates. Be you! because you do not want to be hired for being someone you are not.
