There are a few things that I would double-check first before quitting. Perhaps there is something specific about your job that you don't like, and if you speak to someone about it, there's something that can be done to improve it, and make you happy? In most situations, talking it through with someone may lead to a resolution that will improve things for you. However, if you do decide to leave your job, are you confident you will have the ability and means to support yourself while you search for another job? If not, it may be worth sticking it out while you search for something new.

try finding a new job first, then quit your current one once you're secure in another. Good luck, and take care.

If you don't like it and are in a position to get a new one that will support your needs, then go for it! If you don't but you don't have an alternative option, then maybe look around and make sure you are able to supply your needs and the needs of your dependents before dropping it.

Try to understand why you don't like it, what is making you despise it. If the situations can't be corrected, then quit it, if it is unhealthy
