This is a very tricky situation, some people suggest sticking through the tough which can help you but What I learnt from my personal experience is that a job is a very huge part of your life and being unhappy there reflections on all aspects of your life, I end the association when I feel I am not in the position to give my 100% anymore.

I definitely think looking for another job would be good, if you dislike it so much! But you also have to take into consideration other things - such as bills, etc. If you can afford to quit before you find another job and still have enough of live on, then go ahead, but looking for another one first would be best!

i think you need to get rid of anything that makes you unhappy. Also if its not an option to quit your job because of financial reasons then you should speak to your boss or someone about why you dont like your job and then maybe they can do something for you.

Disliking one's job is something that everyone experiences in their lives. In my opinion, life is short, and you shouldn't waste it doing something you hate. But maybe you have bills, a family to take care of, etc. You have to make your own decision here, but don't leave without a plan!

I'd wonder why you dislike it -- or rather, how much you dislike it. Stress in the workplace is a serious issue, but a work-related incident could be resolved might make it a more likeable environment. Is there any way you can improve your current situation? If not, I wonder if you'd thought about the consequences of quitting. Have you got the resources to be out of work for a period of time? Do you have another job lined up, or could easily get one? How would it affect your lifestyle, eg bills? It's a big decision and ought to be thought about carefully.

Well to gain more perspective, think about what you have to gain or lose by quitting or continuing your job. From personal experience, it feels better and more motivating to work towards a new goal than to just drop your current burdens.
