i think you should do something you like, not something you mislike only because you need money. but as money are necessary for living, you should continue your job while finding another one which likes you the most. just to keep the thing straight

If you aren't happy with the job you have, maybe it is time to search for a new one that seems more interesting to you.

Try and pin down exactly what you don't like about your job, because the problem could be in other jobs too. If it is a person it's all relative try and put that into perspective and the affect it has on you.

You should start looking for a new job now that you know how you feel, but keep this job in the meantime.

If you are not enjoying your job and are unhappy, from personal experience I feel it is better to quit. My job made me generally a sad person in life, so I quit and found something I enjoyed. This affected my personal life positively as well as my professional life.
I think it is pointless working in an environment where you feel uncomfortable or you aren't content. For a lot of us, most of our waking hours are spent at work. Think about it, why spend most of your waking hours doing something you don't enjoy?!

I think its not that simple. I think there are a lot of things that weigh in on that decision, but if your unhappy there is nothing that stops you from applying for other opportunities! you can put in applications for other work while you are employed! if something better comes along you can quite your current job for something new or better!

It's not my place to tell you what you should and shouldn't do. Follow your heart, but also weigh the consequences on both ends. Consider making a list of pros and cons regarding whether or not you should quit. Ask important questions, such as: will it be easy for me to find a new job; do I have enough in saving for a prolonged job search; etc.
