If you don't like your job you should quit it cause there is no point in doing what you don't like. in life you can always remain happy if you are doing what you like. you can earn in many ways but to have inner peace is equally important. So i would suggest you to look for a job which interests you rather than doing something which is troubling you. If its an emergency t then i would say that continue your current job till you find a job of your choice. All the best

Quitting a job is the fastest way to get you un-employed. Searching for a new job during work-hours is a close second. If money is no problem, I'd say quit your job. Unfortunately for most of us, we actually depend on these jobs for our income. Do you have a new job lined up already? Are you willing to eat up your savings? Your company might have an educational program, so you might want to talk to Human Resource about broadening your expertise. Do not say you are doing this because you are feeling uncomfortable with your current job, just ask about the opportunities to learn more and be more useful to the company. You might get a promotion out of it in the (more or less) long run. They might offer to pay part of tuition fees. BE WARNED: You might be stuck with the same company for a while. They have contracts. Some people prefer paying the tuition fees directly (and getting certificates and whatnots themselves) instead of being bound to a company for years. READ any contract carefully, and if possible, get legal advise where you can. Rotting away at the mail-room because you got an education for the firm you work, but there is no placement for you because the CEO's nephew has been given the job you actually wanted is not a pleasant situation to be in. Your milage may vary, proceed with caution.

Perhaps continue doing it untill you find one that really satisfies you and makes you happy or probably is similar to your dreamjob. Remember it is never too late to triumph.

If you're unhappy in the environment you're in I don't suggest you stick with the job. I do suggest you do all the necessary requirements before quitting like 1. Looking for another job as a backup plan. 2. Make sure you put in your two weeks notice before quitting.

For practicality reasons if you do not like your job you can always look for another whilst still keeping the first job to make sure you have income coming in. If something makes you so miserable and you have tried everything to resolve the problem then its always up to that person to decide for themselves to quit or stay.
