Yes I have been / am suffering from the same thing. The problem lies with the fact that each rejection also propels the depression and triggers it. The best thing to do is to find out the loop holes in why were you rejected in the past interview, what went wrong. And work on it. Also watching some videos about how to look confident and strong when facing each interview.

Being unemployed can make us feel very confused in lost with our direction. Fortunately for us, being unemployed and depressed are the effects, the ending result of what it is to have a lacking in purpose, direction, motivation, and support. Being depressed leaves us in a position with not a lot of energy, so, to counteract this mode we find ourselves in, look to gain energy in these areas: Support, motivation, purpose. Discover what it is that you love about life, how you help humanity in your individual way and move towards the things that this might be, we become less depressed when we realize a sense of purpose and belongingness to life. I would recommend not only connecting with others who follow the same interests in purpose and specialty, and also, customizing your environment to be positive and inspiring, set up reminders in what you feel like you should be doing and what makes you happy!

Well the only way to find the job you want to have is if you keep a positive outlook on things. :D You have to keep trying and keep thinking optimistic. Don't let the sadness get to you otherwise you will just keep looking.

Try counting up all the things you'll have to look forward to, maybe make little games to keep motivated and determined.

Personally, I believe that getting your depression on course and manageable is more important than looking for a job. Having a job with unmanageable depression can be dysfunctional and can lead to you needing time off work and putting yourself in more trouble that you don't need. Making sure that you can operate on a day to day basis would be my first goal, then I would feel better about feeling more in control and then I would search for a job

I understand where you are coming from, because I too am dealing with the same situation. It sounds like you are going through a lot at the moment and I'm sure it's difficult to concentrate on your job search when you are experiencing something such as depression. Would it help to find someone - a career counselor from the college you attended (if you attended college) or a close friend - who can read over your resume/application and give you mock interviews? Sometimes, enlisting the help of another person can work wonders.

When I'm depressed about anything I like to take away the energy I'm putting towards being depressed and put it to other things, maybe it is video games, or going for a run or a jog. Doing other things to keep your mind busy and away from whatever is causing you to be depressed is the way to stop being depressed.
