Start off with a little - you can always go back for more. Be aware of your eating. Chew each bite 7-8 times. Swallow and breathe, and THEN you can put more food on your fork. Repeat. When you finish what is on the plate, sit for 10 minutes. Enjoy a glass of water/herbal tea. Then if you are still hungry - repeat.

When I feel like I am busy but I do not feel anxious or overwhelmed. It is in a sense a place of comfort, where I do not feel I have nothing on my plate but I do not feel like I am panicking, it is a place of between. I know when I can go through each thing and work through them instead of scrambling to keep up or feel as if I have nothing to go through at all. It is a little difficult to explain, in a sense you know.

Ask yourself questions how you feel about it. Do you find yourself having too much free time? Enough free time? Are you bored frequently? Are you able to complete all of your tasks & meet deadlines? Are you getting enough sleep? Too much sleep? You're the only person who can decide if you're feeling over- or under-loaded with responsibilities.

Having enough on your plate is when you can always find something to do, but in a balanced and constructive way, and not feel burned out when you want to take time off. Having too much on your plate, is that slight feeling of anxiety looming over you - not wanting to take time off or step away, because there's too much to do, and not enough time to do it.

Just remember that everyone always feels like they can eat more than usual when they feel super hungry! It's why they say you aren't supposed to go the grocery store when you are hungry, because more often then not you pick up junk or extra items you don't need. A safe rule is to always get less food than you think you might need, and come back for seconds if you are hungry or get a fuller feeling by eating a healthy snack/side item. And, always wait about 10 minutes after you've finished a meal. It takes a minute for your mind to catch up to your stomach that it is full.

Experience. We are all very much unique in our capacities to approach a problem. As example, some people can do repetitive tasks for ours on end and deliver those results others would find just too daunting. Other would spend a few minutes on various tasks and achieve a completely different but sometimes very creative result. Study yourself, when have you achieved your best results? You can always try something and learn from it. It is good to know and understand your capacities, but do not see them as your limit to what you can do, just your limitations in how you can do it for now.
