It depends on the specific managers and co-workers; after all, managers and co-workers can also -be- a cause for work stress. However, if you have a good relationship with a co-worker, don't be afraid to reach out to them if you're feeling stressed at work. I've found that, no matter my job, my co-workers have always made the difference. I could be doing my dream job, but I'd still be miserable if my co-workers weren't friendly. It may be time to take a real hard look at your workplace, and decide if this is the kind of environment where you can thrive, make a difference, and be happy.

Yes they can! Most definitely. Having co-workers and managers that help keep some of that work stress off your shoulders can be a great way to actually enjoy being at work. Co-workers that offer to help with the project you're working on so you spend 2 hours working on it together versus the 5 hours it would have taken you by yourself. The same goes with managers. They should step up and help whenever you're feeling extremely stressed out at work. That's why they are there.

The co-workers and managers are responsible for the type of environment that surrounds the workplace. It's important to maintain a supportive, kind and open network. Communication is key. It's all about working as a team rather than an individual.

Yes, absolutely, if you have stress in the workplace, the only way to even possibly resolve that is by talking with your manager. You can also talk to HR staff, if available, or your manager's boss if the problem is with the manager themselves. If the manager is not helpful, it is ok to seek another place of employment that will take your concerns more seriously.
