Start by organizing all of your materials, and having a place for every one of your books/folders. When you are overwhelmed by homework, record everything you need to get done on a planner and focus one one thing at a time.

It is important to focus on school but doing other stuff is also good for you. Doing every day life things helps reduce stress. You have to not let school stress get in the way of school because you can also add more stress to your life. Keeping a balance between your personal life and school is critical to your mental health which is just as important as you physical health. Also, if you need help with school work try reaching out to your teachers. I have had good experiences when I have reached out to professors in the past.

The best way to get over stress from school is Make a study schedule.
As annoying as it is to write down all of your assignments, putting what you need to get done on paper instead of keeping it in your head can be incredibly helpful. Find something interesting in the material you are learning.
Part of what makes studying in high school so difficult is that students can’t always choose all of the courses they take. Sometimes, the content in the courses that you didn’t choose will not be your favorite. Make time for yourself.
Try not to spend huge chunks of time doing nothing but studying. Taking a walk with your dogs or baking a batch of cookies will not ruin your grades. You will find that doing this will actually make you happier. Don’t keep talking about how stressed out you are. We all know that person who can’t seem to stop talking about grades and how much work they have to get done. Say no to things you won’t be able to handle. We all have trouble saying no. However, sometimes it is necessary to do so for your own sake.

Speaking with your counselor or social worker in school can help reduce the amount of stress you go through. There is a higher chance of reducing your stress by not keeping things to yourself but being open about it withe people you trust can help. However, seeking help from your classmates can also be helpful as they are your same age and could be possibly going through the same stress as you. Communicating with each other can help make new friendships that will build support systems to not only be there as friends but also someone to talk to whenever you want to be listened.
