Good question. "Motivate". What does that mean? let's see an example. Let's suppose that you want to become a mechanical engineer. But...why? why engineer? why not doctor, pilot, teacher or a business man?
The answer is simple. Because you're motivated. Maybe because you want to try out cool stuffs. You have a reason behind it. That's why you're motivated.
When a kid scores good marks, it's because he/she takes the subject sincerely/ to the heart. He/she has a burning passion for studies. You must think about your future plans. Think positive about studies. You have a reason for what you want to become. find that.
I recommend you to study for a fixed time. Make that passion. No matter how hard the chapters look, smile and say, "I can do this."
I know it's not easy to build up, but it eventually will. Most importantly, DON'T GIVE UP.
Hope this helps. All the best.

Here are some ways to help yourself be motivated to study:
1. Try to figure out the way you study the best
2. Do not compare yourself to others
3. Focus on one thing at a time - Start with the most important thing and do not multi task this will allow you to get more done in a shorter amount of time
4. Remember that studying can be challenging and could take you out of your comfort zone
5. Try to chunk your studying say Study for 45 minutes then I get a 10 minute break or once I study this material I can get a treat that you decide on.

Set yourself up for success. 1) eliminate distractions 2) allocate time and place so that you can do nothing but study, 3) if at all possible, have someone who also needs to study be there with you to hold you accountable, 4) if you are motivated by rewards, decide on a delicious one that you will reward yourself with if you achieve your objective, 5) let your friends know that this is an important goal, and ask them to do anything they can to keep you on track.
If you can do all of these things, I'd say you've got a pretty good chance of achieving this goal!

Set yourself realistic goals. If your goals are unachievable or unrealistic it is less likely you will reach them which will only result in you feeling down about the work you haven't done rather than feeling proud of the work you have done. Think about how much you could realistically get done in a day/week, making sure to give yourself some time to do the things you like to do as well. If you don't allow yourself some free time, you'll be more likely to procrastinate. However, if you achieve your realistic goals you will feel much more productive and rewarded when you get to have your free time.

Hello.
I can totally understand how you may be feeling. As a student, sometimes things get too much. Although you might want to study, you would not be able to do so for some reason or the other.
I would suggest that the first thing you do is to calm yourself down. Maybe take a walk, a shower, read a book, eat some comfort food- basically anything that will get your mind off studying for a bit and slow you down.
Next, you can either look up some inspirational speeches on YouTube (I would suggest commencement speeches). Or if you could look up way to make a schedule or a timetable. If you watch things like doing something productive, it would make your brain want to do the same. And once your mind is back on the track of studying, everything would work out on its own.
I hope this helped you out somewhat.
Stay safe!
