Preparing for college really depends on what stage of high school you are in as well as your current academic standing. However, keeping your grades up, participating in extra curricular and/or volunteer activities, having good relationships with your teachers (good recommendation letters!) and studying for the ACT will help you in college prep. Speaking with your guidance counselor can also prove helpful in college preparation. Don't wait too late to apply to schools and make sure you read the requirements carefully as each institution may have different requirements. Give yourself time to write essays, take tests, get transcripts, and requests letters of recommendation.
