Spirituality is different to everyone, not one person experience it the same. I personally feel that when you find what you believe in and it feels right that is spirituality no one can really tell you how to find it or where you will just know. For some mental illness and spirituality comes together with mindfulness, For others is going to church and pray. It comes from deep inside yourself. All you need to learn is to trust yourself on what you feel

Spirituality can be a variety of things, but it is usually having a relationship with a "higher power" of your own understanding. Often, people find that having spirituality in their daily lives helps them to better cope with big and small frustrations. Many spiritual walks and religions are centered around a loving, omniscient, trust-worthy deity that is more perfect and more powerful than ourselves. Sometimes more than just one. Feeling inadequate in and of ourselves is a big part of the human experience, and so, having someone or something bigger and better then ourselves helps to keep things in perspective, so that we can realize that everything will be okay somehow. In a lot of ways, it is a mindset, to see all problems as entirely conquerable, and to have hope no matter your circumstances. that is why it helps people

Spirituality is connecting with something bigger than yourself that helps you to answer moral questions and feel the joy of doing things you admire. Spirituality will not fix everything wrong with you or anything wrong with you. Spirituality can help you keep in touch with your self even when dealing with issues like mental illness. Mental illness can be lived with, and you can have a better life even with this issue if you have a level of spirituality to help you stay you through every step of managing your illness. You are a worthwhile person and you can help others with just a smile, you have that power no matter what.
